Our client, a family owned business based in Queanbeyan, is seeking a proactive, customer service professional to join their internal sales team. This is a permanent full time position, offering flexibility with start times and being able to obtain bonuses when targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and gain new business opportunities, as well as capitalise on opportunities for growth with current customers.
  • Take a proactive approach to understanding and addressing customer needs by providing guidance and recommending suitable product solutions within the industrial/trades space.
  • Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and maximise their purchasing experience.
  • Manage incoming leads, handle data entry, and facilitate workflow distribution through the company’s operating system.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).


About You:

  • A proven sales professional with experience in the trades or industrial sector, or relevant experience in a similar industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Highly driven, resilient, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a competitive and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities without compromising service quality, ensuring all customer needs are met efficiently.
  • Dependable, accountable, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Passionate about continuous growth and development, maintaining a positive, proactive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
